Winter Sports
During the winter season, if you wish to stimulate your stay further with some winter sport action, we suggest looking into the Bezovec Ski Center. It is located on the peak of Bezovec, at 748 meteres above sea level. The Bezovec Ski Center in the Povazsky Inovec mountain chain is an estimated 20km from Piestany.
Access
The center is easily accessible by car, or public transportation. There is a parking lot right in the middle of the Bezovec Ski Center, and additional parking is available outside the arena proper.
Equipment
There are four artificial snow covered runs and two partly snow covered runs. The arena has a total capacity of 3 000people /hour, and offers a wide variety of runs that are designated for beginner skiers, intermediate skiers and advanced skiers and snowboarders. The lifts are automatically included in the purchase of a ticket.
Services
A ski school, equipment rentals, ski services and refreshments are all provided at the Ski Center. Evening “lighted” skiing is also available every day during the winter season.
